Spots fill quickly, so don’t delay!
To ensure everyone's safety and the smooth flow of the Street Parade, several temporary road closures and parking changes will be in place on Saturday, 10 May 2025.
â›” Road Closures
Time: From 10:45 AM to 12:00 NOON (during the Street Parade)
Closed Roads:
- Riverstone Parade (King St to Garfield Rd East)
- Garfield Rd East (Riverstone Parade to George St)
- Park Street (Pitt St to George St)
- Mill Street (Riverstone Parade to George St)
- Pitt Street (Mill St to Garfield Rd East)
- Market Street (Pitt St to George St)
Please follow detour signage and instructions from traffic controllers. All vehicles, including buses, taxis, and B-double trucks, will be rerouted during the parade.
đźš— Altered Parking Conditions
Parking restrictions will apply throughout the festival zone, especially around:
- Riverstone Parade
- Garfield Road East
- Railway Terrace
- Castlereagh Street
- Mill Street
- Church Street
We encourage attendees to use nearby street parking outside of the closure zones or consider public transport.
🚌 Public Transport Notice
During the parade (10:45 AM – 12:00 NOON), bus and taxi access to the Riverstone Train Station on Riverstone Parade will be unavailable.
📍 Parade Route Overview
- Parade begins at 11:00 AM
- Starts at Mill Street Reserve
- Travels via Riverstone Parade, Garfield Rd East, Pitt Street
- Returns to Mill Street Reserve
